I have been learning about meanings of different words. 

Year 6 Camp Writing

On Tuesday morning some year sixes from Point England school went to camp. We went from the bus to the ferry. On bus it was so quiet that I couldn’t hear hardly anything., Once we got on the ferry it was fun because me Aneelis, Glennes, and Latu got to go to the back of the boat and watch the water go sideways once. When we got to Kawau Island we went to put all our things in and then have some fun we done heaps of sports like bush baseball, crickets, volley, and all sorts.

On the second day we started our activities. All our wet activities started on the third day but all our dry activities were on the second day. Our dry activities were fun because when we were on the Burma trail. I kept on slipping over. I kept on yelling out Fetuao’s name but then I got to the then end. Next it was Fetuao’s turn to be blind folded but then when we started walking Jonathan and Paige were still at the back with Miss Timmy and they were really slow.

After that it was finished we went back to the deck to have morning tea. Morning tea was yum because I ate bread cheese, carrot, with it was delicious that it made me full. After that we had to move on to our next activities which was abseiling. Abseiling was kind of scary because it was too high. Sabrina spewed up and it was really gross.

Then we went bivouac building. It was really fun because we had to build huts out of sticks and “put something waterproof on the top.” I knew that Sabrina's group would win because they had more waterproof stuff on the top and also they had the best hutt.

On the last day it was fun because we cleaned our bunks and we were also playing music outside with Kaden’s mum and some people were dancing. It was also funny because me, Miztique, Nyree, Kerstein, Anna, Bryana, and some other girls sang a song to Mr Sommerville

Until then the fairy arrived and then everybody jumped in and waited for some more things to arrive in the fairy.

Once upon a time there were two boys and a girl going camping for halloween their names were Kaydis, Jermaine, and Skye they all went with their mum.  

When they got back to my camping spot and when we got there she  to go an get some food for dinner. They went to go an get some food and when she got back she “ said this is just for me sorry. They had to go and look for their own food to eat. They were too tired to go an get some food.

They were all feeling really Angry, Hungry and Tired. The reason why we were getting Angry, Hungry and Tired it’s because we were lost. They all had the same idea. Their idea was to put sticks on the ground and brake of a branch from a tree. That is how we know that we’ve been there. Because there were heaps of paths we needed to take. There were 5 paths we needed to take.

One Sunny morning Emily and Nathanael went for a walk down to the bush suddenly they heard a really scary sound so then Emily called out “Ho….ho….ho…. Ho is there?” So then they kept on walking. Until they saw someone zoom right across them. So then Nathaniel stepped right up and said “Come out and show yourself”.

But then no one answered and no one showed up. So then they kept on walking. They kept on walking. Until then nathaniel had a really really great plan he said emily with excitement “we should do a trap”.

Emily said “it is completely a waste of time!” Nathanael said “well I have no other plans that is the only one I could think of”.

Emily said with anger “did I ask for any plans!”. Nathaniel said “no” and then he said again “we should do it” wait “can we”. And Emily said but you don’t know what is our trap right? Along came my friends Skye, Nyree, and Penny. Penny said “what are you two doing in the bushes?”.

Emily said to Penny “We didn’t want to go for a walk around our street so then we just came here in the bushes for”. And then Emily said again when we got here we heard something creepy and also saw something creepy run past us so then Nathanael said to me that he was going home to get the rope and the net.

Nyree said “So then what are you guys doing now?” Emily yelled I said setting up a trap so then instead penny yelled out come on guys we are all going to run out in 3…. 2….1 run right now.
