My Skater

Eventually I reached the crest of the hill, and that is where I saw him first. His face showed stern concentration, which caused the skater to frown. He shifted his weight, allowing for the board to rotate in mid-air.

His body was silhouetted against the soft pink dusk sky. It was like clouds that fell from the sky. A heat haze covered the city in a steamy blanket, turning the hills to a pastel mauve.

Fonterra Milk for Schools is a programme for kids to get milk everyday at school .Each week a milk truck comes to the school with boxes of milks which get put into a refrigerator. one person From every class takes enough milk From the box to their classroom.Every student get a carton of milk to drink. once you have drunk it dry you need to fold it up and put it in the recycling bin the first reason why milk is important to drink is that it keeps you hydrated. it gives you energy to play and learn. The calcium in the milk helps you to make your bones and teeth strong, which is important so you don’t break a lots of bones.

Fiafia is a Day to Celebrate  many cultures. At Pt England we celebrate Fiafia.

We share many cultures with the school and parents and all the community.

Before fiafia the school goes to practice with the tutor and teacher.

All about Haiti

Haiti is a very poor country. It is on an island in the Caribbean. There was a ginormous earthquke in Haiti  in 2010.  It was sad because many people died - over 200 000! Many of  the houses got destroyed and fell down and people had no food to eat at all. People were crying and the babies were crying too.
