Floundering

YAY!! it finally came to the day we have all been waiting for. Well guess what today the whole school went out to support the floundering team. Well I said the school well some people went out to their cross country run. But when we went out to support the floundering team it was fun because we sang waiata's. Then after our waiata we shouted out catch some flounders oi after we shouted this then we shouted out. We love you flounder team. But the flounder we had to catch some baby flounders and look after it so well that once it grows you get to take it back to where it belongs. After we catch the flounders we have to leave them in a tank.

Have you ever caught or tasted flounders before?
Well guess what if you have tasted or caught flounder comment down below.

Year 6 Camp Writing

On Tuesday morning some year sixes from Point England school went to camp. We went from the bus to the ferry. On bus it was so quiet that I couldn’t hear hardly anything., Once we got on the ferry it was fun because me Aneelis, Glennes, and Latu got to go to the back of the boat and watch the water go sideways once. When we got to Kawau Island we went to put all our things in and then have some fun we done heaps of sports like bush baseball, crickets, volley, and all sorts.

On the second day we started our activities. All our wet activities started on the third day but all our dry activities were on the second day. Our dry activities were fun because when we were on the Burma trail. I kept on slipping over. I kept on yelling out Fetuao’s name but then I got to the then end. Next it was Fetuao’s turn to be blind folded but then when we started walking Jonathan and Paige were still at the back with Miss Timmy and they were really slow.

After that it was finished we went back to the deck to have morning tea. Morning tea was yum because I ate bread cheese, carrot, with it was delicious that it made me full. After that we had to move on to our next activities which was abseiling. Abseiling was kind of scary because it was too high. Sabrina spewed up and it was really gross.

Then we went bivouac building. It was really fun because we had to build huts out of sticks and “put something waterproof on the top.” I knew that Sabrina's group would win because they had more waterproof stuff on the top and also they had the best hutt.

On the last day it was fun because we cleaned our bunks and we were also playing music outside with Kaden’s mum and some people were dancing. It was also funny because me, Miztique, Nyree, Kerstein, Anna, Bryana, and some other girls sang a song to Mr Sommerville
Until then the fairy arrived and then everybody jumped in and waited for some more things to arrive in the fairy.

Pirate Narrative writing

Once upon a time there was a pirate named Captain Bob. He is a very selfish pirate about finding treasures. He liked to wear ziczac clothes and shoes. But instead of a ziczac patch Bob wore a black patch and stripy socks.

The next day Captain Bob and his crew went to look for treasure. It was a stormy and a rainy day there was a big rock in their way. Captain Bob couldn’t find a way to move the rock out so then it was too late because the ship was already sinking so then. Captain and his crew quickly jumped out of the ship then they swam underneath the water to see if there were any treasure then suddenly Captain Bob saw a treasure and tapped on his best mate's shoulders and pointed at the treasure box. Then the Captain and his crew swam all the way back to the island with his crew. Then the next day the captain and his crew lived happily ever after.

Easter Break

On Monday night I went to the Easter show with my brothers and my sisters we all went to buy some tickets for each rides it cost a lot of money then when we finished buying tickets for each rides we went on the bumba cars first then we went on the roller coaster and it was fun because. We went upside down and around the hoop. Then we went to McDonald and bought something for us to eat when we finished buying McDonald we went straight to our aunt and uncle's house and ate some easter eggs. When we came back from our aunt and uncle’s house we went straight back home and had a little rest then the next day we went to our practices for our consent and after our practices we stayed there for a while so we can have enough time to play some volley and play other fun activities.
