Show don't tell

This terms theme is "Move ya body" and my class has been doing show don't tell this week my group Waititi has been out learning how to unicycle but finally got to stay inside class to catch up on some writing and finally I managed to catch up to do this presentation and this presentation is about some athletes and we got to pick a athlete to write about and my athlete was Yohan Blake the reason to why I picked him was because we couldn't pick Usain Bolt cause my teacher knew that we would know a lot of information about Usain Bolt. I know that my school is special because heaps of special events and special people come and visit our school and also heaps of special things happen at our school like famous dancers come perform at our school. In class we learn about drinking heaps of water or we learn about creatures or anything else we also make movies to show the whole school to watch during P.E.N.N. P.E.N.N our own news. Some teachers and principal from all around the world travel to new zealand just to come and see how amazing and special our tamariki and school looks. So then our beautiful prefects from pt england goes and take the special visits around our and look in people's classes and see how beautiful our tamariki is.Some teachers leave our school and then come back to visit our school

and see how beautiful our school looks and how awesome our tamariki is we also make own karakias during te reo maori with our beautiful teacher whaea saffron we sing different culture songs like Samoan, Tongan, Pacific, and also maori song.

Camping, lost, forest

Once upon a time there were two boys and a girl going camping for halloween their names were Kaydis, Jermaine, and Skye they all went with their mum.  

When they got back to my camping spot and when we got there she  to go an get some food for dinner. They went to go an get some food and when she got back she “ said this is just for me sorry. They had to go and look for their own food to eat. They were too tired to go an get some food.

They were all feeling really Angry, Hungry and Tired. The reason why we were getting Angry, Hungry and Tired it’s because we were lost. They all had the same idea. Their idea was to put sticks on the ground and brake of a branch from a tree. That is how we know that we’ve been there. Because there were heaps of paths we needed to take. There were 5 paths we needed to take.

In the holidays I went fishing with my grandpa we used my dad's boats to out fishing my grandpa said to me “don’t forget to put on your life jacket on before we go”. So then I quickly put on my life jacket and then left.

All of a sudden we caught a fish. When I looked at it I said to my grandpa you have to pick it up with a wet towel because when you put it back or it will get sick and die.

After we caught the big fish my grandpa said to me “you are a very good at catching fish once you grow up you might pick you to go into the fishing program”. I asked grandpa “when did you start going fishing”? And my grandpa said to me that he started going fishing when he was my age. Then my grandpa said to me “come on let go now” so then we left with the fish to go home.

In hurdles, an athlete runs as fast as they can and jump over obstacles. Hurdles are what female and male can do. They have to run as fast as they could without busting down any of the hurdles.

Hurdles is part of athletics. There are different kinds of hurdles there are 100m, 110m, and 400m hurdles those are the different types of hurdles.

Hurdles is what different kinds of people can do but they can do any kinds of other sports like handball, 100m sprint or any kinds of sports but if they got picked for hurdles then they will have to do it until it ends.

Hurdles is a good sport it helps you jump high and it also helps you run really fast.

Pirate Narrative writing

Once upon a time there was a pirate named Captain Bob. He is a very selfish pirate about finding treasures. He liked to wear ziczac clothes and shoes. But instead of a ziczac patch Bob wore a black patch and stripy socks.

The next day Captain Bob and his crew went to look for treasure.It was a stormy and a rainy day there was a big rock in their way. Captain Bob couldn’t find a way to move the rock out so then it was too late because the ship was already sinking so then. Captain and his crew quickly jumped out of the ship then they swam underneath the water to see if there were any treasure then suddenly Captain Bob saw a treasure and tapped on his best mate's shoulders and pointed at the treasure box. Then the Captain and his crew swam all the way back to the island with his crew. Then the next day the captain and his crew lived happily ever after.

this term me and my group has been learning about seeds for birds this is a product of what you are supposed to before you start your real work.

if I had one million dollars I would go to JB-hi fi and bye my family new stuffs.

then I will go to pak n save and bye dinner and breakfast for my family to have in the morning and at night to eat because they might be hungry and they have nothing to eat.

next I will go to the warehouse and buy some new clothes for me and my family to wear I would bye new shoes to for them to wear and then I will go and buy some new socks for them to wear on their feet.

if I buyed these things for one million dollars I will share them with my friends and family to wear on their body.

my holiday recount.

In the holidays I went with my mum, dad and my brothers and sisters to my aunt's house  and when we went there we ate chocolate ice block, vanilla ice cream then after that we went to buy the baby some new cloths.

then the next day we went to the pools with my family and it was so cool because we were splashing inside the pool and my cousin came to me and tried to drown me then I swam away from him and then my uncle threw me up and then I came back down then I drowned.

then the last week of the holidays we went for a ride to the city and then when it was night time we all went back home the same time and when we got home I went to sleep until the next day we went to the airport because my brother was going to australia. the end.
